How much is your blog worth?

Okay, so the cool kids watched ER when George Clooney was on it, in the early days.
I came to the party late, when most of the originals were gone, and the cool kids had stopped watching it because it just wasn’t as good any more. And maybe it wasn’t. How would I know, I didn’t watch it in the early years.
But I love this show. I especially love Neela, but more on that later.
For now I just want to let those of you who have stopped watching know –
This is a damn good show. I’m comparing it to Grey’s Anatomy, which I really like, but let’s face it, Grey’s Anatomy is a high school soap opera. E.R. is more real (seemingly, anyway) and I like them both, but on many Thursday nights I find E.R. to be the better show.
So, just in case you’re not keeping up, Abby’s getting married. If you’re a one-time-but-not-current fan, I just thought you might want to know.
Starting this Thursday, six weeks of new E.R. episodes, including the wedding.
Oh yeah! She has a baby, too! That’s Luka up there, Croatian doctor (tall, dark and brooding type, suffering from the loss of his wife and child during the war), and now he’s the father of Abby’s baby and her groom-to-be.
See, when E.R. does soap opera? They do it grownup style.
Actually, I watch E.R. for the medicine. I just tolerate the soap opera stuff.
Really.
(What am I thinking? I forgot to tell you, you can vote for Luka as “hot TV doc” here.)
