Crafty and Artsy Moleskines

I haven’t been interested in moleskine cahiers so far.

They are small, softcover rather than hard, come in sets of three, and I really only use one moleskine at a time.

But then I stumbled across goshdarnknit and it’s just one fabulous cahier idea after another (among many other things).

Tres cool prints that make me want to grab some cahiers and get crafty. Problem is, I’m not arty OR crafty, plus I’d flat out mess up a heck of a lot of cahiers before I came up with any worth looking at.

Luckily, darnknit has an online shop. Lots of really cool handmade stuff at great prices. Christmas is only 15 days away, right?

(I don’t know darnknit. I just stumbled across the site and have been drooling over it ever since.)

And yes, my Cowboys are getting spanked by the Saints right now.

Sigh.

I love the cahiers, they go nicely with an hPDA and a fisher space pen in a back pocket. I always have a place to write that’s convenient, and I write anything I’d like to read later in it (lyrics, thoughts, anything else). They last about a month, and I fill them right as they get worn out, reread them at the end and enjoy.

Oh wow. Thanks for the link. My daughter makes journals for all of her friends for Christmas and we were getting ready to go out an buy a stack on spirals.

But the Cahier idea is better.

I bought a pack of three and keep on in my purse at all times. It’s my portable brain.

    Pooks: I don’t have a moleskine problem…I can quit anytime I want…honest…or until my collection reaches three-hundred.

lydgate, that’s the way I use my pocket moleskine — to write down anything I’ll want to remember or do later.

cinemagypsy, the girls ought to love cahiers. Do they come with the same little history of the Moleskine in their pockets?

WritePro — yes, absolutely, I don’t have a prob either, except that I have extras waiting for me to use them, and keep wanting to buy more anyway!

I have one from my regular Moleskine, glad you mentioned the history thingy. We can copy it and put those in.

Wait, the Saints beat the Cowboys? I better go outside and see if I can spot those four horsemen. The day is nigh.

The Saints spanked the Cowboys and made them cry.

And I have to say, I’m glad it was the Saints. If anybody has to go to the Super Bowl besides the Cowboys, let it be the Saints!

Sean Payton knew his mentor’s weaknesses and tendencies. What gets me mad is that he never drew up such eloborate plans when he was the Boys offensive coordinator. Go figure.
