I think this is very cool looking, and I don’t even watch Battlestar Gallactica.
A Cahier is a Moleskine that has fewer pages and a softcover. They come in shopping-bag brown and black.
I’m not at all crafty, but this makes me want to do something fun and quasi-artsy.
Spending time on the NWD site does that to me. (sigh)

I just got my first Moleskine a few weeks ago at the Barnes and Noble near here. They have a whole rack of them now. Love ‘em.
“Shopping-bag brown.” That’s just right.

Um, how do you pronounce “Cahair,” anyway? I don’t get out much.

cg — my moleskine has turned into a collection of half-assed notes to myself, lists, etc., and I still love it. I have a Kinky Friedman sticker on the front of it, too.
candace — hell if I know!

Oh, you gotta show us that Kinky Moleskine.
Candace, (love your blog, btw, one day I’ll comment) cahier is pronounced ka-here. It’s French for notebook, I think.

Cinemagypsy, okay, it’s “ka-here” (as opposed to “ka-there”) – thanks! And thanks for loving my blog (sniffle) – that’s so sweet! I’m gonna go visit yours now.

I spent all my years in Quebec French schools writing in cahiers. Cahier is pronounced “ca-yay”. “Ca” as in camera and “yay” as in “yay”.
